Alternative Health Center started in 1999 as a dream for Drs. Stephen and Melissa Clouthier. Dr. Melissa, a childhood patient of legendary Chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart founder of Applied Kinesiology and mentored by Dr. Robert Radtke knew that this brand of "Alternative Health Care" was the future form of Health Care. While still dating, Dr. Steve wanted to increase his Collegiate Volleyball and Basketball athletic performance--for the first time he tried Applied Kinesiology, nutrition and herbs--no drugs, no surgery. His joint pain gone, his performance increased--he was sold! Wanting to help as many people as possible to live their best lives, Alternative Health Care began in the heart of The Woodlands.

Stephen and Melissa Clouthier met in undergraduate college (a long, long time ago in a land far, far away) and went to New York Chiropractic College together. They moved to Texas in 1997 to start their dream of healing. A bunch of kids and clients later, the rest is history!
